Volunteer
You can help by becoming a volunteer and joining our lovely team. Come in and have a chat to one of our supervisors and see if this is something you would like to do.
Volunteers help with sorting donations, washing and ironing of clothing, sales, repairing clothing, jewellery and watches, cutting up rags and new material ready for sale. Volunteers also work in the café.
Sign up as an Auxiliary member ($3 per year) and as well as becoming a volunteer, you are entitled to attend the monthly general meetings with voting rights.

You can stop in and have a cuppa at Mary Rose Kay Café and enjoy the beautiful refurbishment.
Visit our Op Shop
You can also help by shopping at the Bazaar. Op shopping is a great way to reduce our impact on the environment by reducing landfill and our carbon footprint. Something that might have ended up in a landfill can now have a second life in your home. By buying a pre-loved item, you are also contributing to reducing the impact manufacturing has on our resources. You might also find a fabulous buy or something that you can cut up and repurpose for very little cost.
You are contributing to our local community as all our profits go right next door to support Caloundra Health Service with their various departments, including Dove Cottage (palliative care) which is close to all our hearts.
Donations
You can donate your unwanted goods. Pick up can be arranged if you are unable to bring it in yourself. Please note, though, that we do not sell 240v appliances of any sort or large items of furniture.
